1. What is the promotion?

‘Is There a Carnival in the Box?’ is an on-pack promotion offering the chance to win fantastic prizes from carnival holidays to chocolate gift sets.

2. How do I enter?

The promotion is available on special packs of Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut, Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel, Double Decker, Crunchie, Twirl and Boost. To enter, simply text to win or play the on-line game. On the outside of every ‘Is There a Carnival in the Box’ promotional wrapper, you will find a 13 digit barcode. To find out if you are a winner, either text the last four digits of the barcode to the short code number (long code if in CI or IOM) or log on to www.carnivalinabox.com. On the on-line entry page, enter the last four digits of the barcode from your promotional wrapper. You will then play the carnival game to see if you are a winner.

3. Where can I find promotional packs?

Promotional packs will be available in participating stores from November 2008.

4. Is there an age restriction to enter the promotion?

The promotion is open to participants aged 16 or over. NB all carnival and festival prize winners under the age of 18 years will need to be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over.

5. Can I participate if I am not a resident of GB, Isle of Man or Channel Islands?

Unfortunately not. The promotion is only open to participants who are residents of the UK, CI and IOM.

6. When does the promotion open and close?

The promotion starts at 00:00 on Saturday 1st November 2008 and closes 23:59 on Tuesday 5th May 2009.

7. How many times can I win?

To be fair to everyone, only one entry per mobile phone number or email address per day is permitted and only one prize can be won per person, per mode of entry for the whole promotional period. Winners may be required to provide proof of ID in order to claim their prizes.

8. Do I need to send in my promotional wrapper if I win a prize?

No. There is no need to retain or send in your wrapper to us if you have won a prize.

9. How will I know if I have won?

If you have entered via the SMS route you will receive a text message telling you what you have won. If you have entered via the online route, you will be informed that you have won instantly online. You will also be given details on claiming your prize via your relevant route of entry. If you have been unsuccessful, you will receive a message telling you that you have not won.

10. What if my code isn’t working?

Please check that you have read the code correctly using numbers rather than letters. Only the last 4 digits of the barcode must be entered without commas or spaces.

11. What are the prizes?

There is a total of 10,107 prizes consisting of 7 x World carnival holidays for 2; 100 x Nintendo Wiis and game; 10,000 chocolate bar sets comprising 1 each of Cadbury Dairy Milk (49g), Crunchie (40g), Twirl (43g), Boost (60.5g) and Double Decker (60g). 12. When can I travel?

Each carnival has specific dates for travel. Please see Terms and Conditions for details. All carnival holiday locations and dates are subject to availability.

13. What am I responsible for?

Each person travelling is responsible for obtaining their own passport and visa. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months after the start date of the holiday.

14. Is travel insurance included in the prize?

Standard travel insurance is included for the carnival holidays. Each person travelling must comply with the Terms and Conditions of the insurance policy. If the Terms and Conditions are not met, it is the prizewinner’s responsibility to ensure adequate alternative travel insurance is obtained before the relevant date of departure. Insurance excesses may be applicable (payable by the prizewinner) in order to make an insurance claim.

15. How do I get between home and the airport?

Transport between home and the airport is the responsibility of the prizewinner. Each person travelling is responsible for getting to the designated airport at the allotted time and to allow sufficient time for check-in and security checks.

16. Can I fly from another airport other than in London?

Unfortunately all flights must be taken from London.

17. What happens if the airline / hotel / tour etc is cancelled or changed?

No responsibility can be accepted for hotels / tours / airlines etc being withdrawn or amended. However, in these circumstances, the Promoter will endeavour to assist prizewinners as appropriate.

18. What happens if I need to change holiday details once it is booked?

Any amendments or alterations made by the prizewinner after the booking is confirmed will be subject to administration charges payable by the prizewinner.

19. Can I have cash instead of the holiday?

There is no cash or other alternative available for any prizes.

20. How can I enter the monthly prize draw?

You can enter the monthly prize draw if you do not win a prize in the main promotion. If you entered via SMS, you will be automatically entered into the monthly prize draw. If you entered via the online route, you will be asked if you would like to enter the monthly prize draw online.

21. When do the monthly prize draws take place?

The monthly prize draws take place on 5th December 2008; then 5th January, 5th February, 5th March, 5th April & 5th May 2009.

22. What can I win in the monthly prize draw?

There are 5 pairs of festival tickets and 100 chocolate gift packs to be won each month.

Winners of the festival tickets will be able to choose a festival of their choice from the list provided. Tickets are subject to availability at time of booking.

Chocolate gift packs comprise 1 each of Cadbury Dairy Milk (49g), Crunchie (40g), Twirl (43g), Boost (60.5g) and Double Decker (60g).

23. What do I do if the ‘Is There a Carnival in the Box’ site crashes during game play?
